Services

Proof of Insurance is required by the state of Maryland for tags to be issued. 
If it cannot be done at our offices, we complete the necessary paperwork with you then take it directly to the MVA for you. *If you are coming on behalf of another party, please call ahead 301-362-6993*
We are authorized to issue license plates immediately and can process most transactions over the counter. We have regular, Bay, and Agricultural plates on-site and can help you purchase specialty plates, organizational, or handicapped plates through the MVA. We offer efficient, professional, services at convenient hours.

The MVA rules for moving to Maryland have time constraints as well as insurance and inspection requirements.

Since we must have the original title from your previous state (which could take 6-8 weeks to receive if you have a lineholder) we strongly recommend that you DO NOT apply for you Maryland driver's license until this step is complete. Tags and titles must be transferred within 60 days from applying for your driver's license or you will incur a fine. For more information call us at 301-362-6993.

We will keep you informed of our progress so that you will have time to get your Maryland inspection completed before the final stage.

We need original signatures from ALL parties listed on the original title. If one of the owners is not moving to Maryland be sure to have us complete a Power of Attorney for you so that all paperwork is properly completed.
